Before the Barcelona male team played against Sevilla in La Liga, fifteen Barcelona Femeni players were presented to the home fans in recognition of their outstanding performances in the recently concluded Women’s World Cup.

Barcelona Femeni players won 12 medals in total in the tournament: 9 gold medals, 2 silver medals, and a bronze medal. The Spanish team that ended up winning the trophy for the first time in their history featured nine Blaugrana players, of whom two have moved on to play for other teams during the transfer window.
Alexia Putellas, Aitana Bonmati, Irene Paredes, Ona Batlle, Mariona Caldentey, Cata Coll, and Salma Paralluelo were the World Cup winners present at the Olímpic Lluís Companys.
