Barcelona 3-0 Sporting Club Huelva: Player Ratings

It’s matchday 27, and Barcelona Femeni hosted relegation-threatened Sporting Club Huelva who are just one point ahead of the drop zone.

It was a case of when, not if, FC Barcelona Femeni will be crowned champions of Liga F for four seasons in a row.

After a 3-0 victory against Sporting Club Huelva, the Catalan side have now been crowned as champions. It’s the 8th Spanish league title win for the club.

FC Barcelona Femeni did just enough to be crowned champions. They needed a victory and they got it, thanks to a wonderful volley from Leia Codina in the 39th minute of the game, a smashing strike from Jana Fernandez, and a goal from Asisat Oshoala.

It was a comfortable victory for the heavily rotated FCB Femeni team.

Cata Coll – 7

Came out to deny the opposition team a goal towards the end of the game with a well-timed save. Was barely tested all through the game. It was a very comfortable outing for the goalkeeper.

Leia Codina – 8.5

Scored the first goal of the game with a wonderful volley and was superb at the back.

Emma Ramirez – 7

Didn’t have much to do defensively during the game, but was always present in attack.

Jana Fernandez – 9

Got a yellow card during the first half of the game. But, recovered well with a beautiful goal and an assist. Added a lot to build up play from the back.

Nuria Rabano – 7.5

Was rock solid at the back, and tracked runners wonderfully. She was also impressive going forward.

Pina Claudia – 7

Assisted the first goal. Was substituted for Alexia in the second half of the game.

Engen Ingrid – 7.5

Kept the midfield moving and assisted the second goal.

Bruna Vilamala – 6.5

Stepped into midfield and did well to retain possession.

Ana Maria Crnogorcevic – 7

Should have had an assist, constantly whipping crosses into the opposition box.

Geyse Ferreira – 6.5

Made little attacking impact due to the low block of the opposition of the team.

Salma Paralluelo – 7

Had an impressive outing. She had a few beautiful exchanges of passes with Nuria and Engen.
