Player Ratings

Sandra Panos: 6.5

The Spanish goalkeeper had little to do throughout the game, she had a couple of misplaced passes in the first half of the game, but aside from that she had a well-solid game. She did well against some charging run from the Atletico Madrid winger Rasheedat Ajibade. She did comfortably well to collect the ball while lifting the pressure from her defense.

Marta Torrejon: 6

The right-back maintained her high level throughout the game and didn’t have much to do defensively.

Irene Paredes: 6.5

The defender was slightly on a lower level than her usual self in the first half but improved significantly as the game progressed, and didn’t really have much to do as the game went on.

Mapi Leon: 6.5

As always, solid as ever in defense, strong in possession, and smart with her distribution.

Fridolina Rolfo: 7.5

The full-back was actively involved in the attacking play throughout the game, making crosses and passes into dangerous positions in the Atletico penalty box. Combined well with Vicky Lopez and Mariona Caldentey on the wing, found Graham Hansen with a diagonal pass to open the scoring. She continued to create chance after chance all through the game.

Aitana Bonmati: 9

With 2 goals and an assist to her name the Spanish midfielder was everywhere on the field, making as many penetrating runs into space and dictating play with her passing distributions.

Keira Walsh: 7

The midfielder played a decent game, going back to cover and support the defense. She held up her position well till she was substituted.

Patri Guijarro: 6

Had a relatively quiet game, and grew more into the game toward the end of the second half. Showed a few tricks during the course of the game.

Caroline Graham Hansen: 8

With a goal and an assist to her name, the Norwegian forward had a good game, completing a couple of take-ons and daring to take on the Atletico defense with every chance she gets. She did beautifully well cutting inside a lot and pulling away and finding spaces which were how she set up the first goal.

Geyse Ferreira: 6.5

The striker looked sharp and physically superior in the first half as she was able to find space and make some linkup play and darting runs behind the defense, but she was not able to get past the Atletico defense and get into goal-scoring positions. Had a relatively quiet second half.

Vicky Lopez: 7

Impressed with her ball-carrying and passing ability in the first half. She then doubled the advantage just 26 seconds into the second half of the game with a very confident finish. Aside from that she had some moments of spark and brilliance.

SUBSTITUTES PLAYER RATINGS

Mariona Caldentey: 6

Just returning from injury, the forward impressed in her 30-minute appearance. She struck the crossbar from a free kick and was heavily involved in the fourth goal.

Bruna Vilamala: 6

Got the assist for the fourth goal. Besides that, she was relatively quiet.

Ana Maria Crnogorcevic: 5

Held up her end on the wing, however, she didn’t get involved in the play as most of Barcelona’s attack throughout the game came from the opposite flank.

Ingrid Engen: 5

Did well in midfield after replacing Keira Walsh, and helped maintain possession in the dying minutes of the game. Didn’t have much of an impact on the game.

Lucy Bronze: 5

Had a few run-ins behind the Atletico backline and combined well with Engen to keep possession in the dying minutes. Didn’t have much of an impact on the game.

Overall, it was an amazing performance from the team, and we look forward to seeing them put up another outstanding performance in the Champions League semi-finals against Chelsea next week.
