Barcelona Femeni stunned their archrivals Real Madrid once again in their second encounter in the Liga F this season. The Catalan team defeated the Madrid side 3-0 at the Alfredo Di Stefano stadium in Madrid to increase the points difference between both sides on the league table.
Prior to the game, Barcelona were nine points clear of Real Madrid at the top of the league rankings. However, securing all three points in the Clasico extended Barca Femeni’s lead by twelve points.
Goals from Fridolina Rolfo, Aitana Bonmati, and Caroline Graham Hansen secured the champions hold on the title.
Caroline Graham Hansen put up a spectacular performance in the game, which saw her named the Player of the Match. The Norwegian forward kept her fine form this season with a goal and an assist against Los Blancos. Graham currently sits at the top of both the goalscorers and assists charts in the Liga F.
Barcelona’s next game will be played at home in the UEFA Women’s Champions League when they face SK Brann in the second leg of their quarterfinal clash.
