Club captain and two-time Ballon d’Or winner Alexia Putellas has now surpassed ex-Barcelona player Jennifer Hermoso’s record when she scored Barcelona’s lone goal against Atletico Madrid earlier tonight in the Liga F.
The team’s captain now sits alone on top of the goalscorers list for Barcelona Femeni with 182 goals and counting, as she is still very much with the club.

Alexia Putellas, who made her 400th appearance for Barcelona three weeks ago, now sits at the very top of the all-time list of top goalscorers for the Catalan side. She has now surpassed former teammate Maye Hermoso’s record of 181 goals. The midfielder showed her delight on the club’s social media page and appreciated the fans’ support in her journey.

Putellas converted against Atletico Madrid to score the only goal of the game after being assisted by Patri Guijarro.
