Before the commencement of their first league game of the season, the FC Barcelona Femeni team yesterday showed support for their injured teammate, Fridolina Rolfo who had a surgery performed on her knee in recent weeks.
Rolfo, who played the tail end of last season and the FIFA Women’s World Cup despite suffering from a knee injury went under the knife two weeks ago. The Swden international’s decision to get surgery rendered her unavailable for the start of the season.
Her Barcelona teammates showed showed support for the injured left back as the team word a shirt with the message “krya på dig Frido” which translates to “take care of yourself Frido”.
Rolfo’s surgery was successful and her return date will be decided based on the evolution of her recovery.
