The UEFA Women’s Champions League draw revealed each club’s opponents in the quarterfinals of the competition. Among the three possible oppositions to be drawn against, Barcelona Femeni were drawn against SK Brann.
The quarterfinals will be a two-legged affair to be played apiece across both side’s home grounds, with Barca Femeni traveling to Norway for the first leg of the clash that is scheduled to take place on March 19.
Although the draw identifies Barcelona as clear favorites to progress to the semifinals, the champions will be facing a tough test against the Norwegian side, which has had to play against clubs like St. Polten, Slavia Praha, and Olympique Lyonnais in the group stages to secure their spot in the knockout stages.
Other fixtures to be played in the quarterfinals include: Benfica vs. Olympique Lyonnais, Ajax vs. Chelsea, and BK Hacken vs. Paris Saint-Germain.
The first leg of the quarterfinal fixtures will be held on March 19, while the second leg will be played on March 27.
