The start of Liga F did not go as planned with the delay in proceedings caused by the Player’s Union strike. As a result, there was no football action on matchday 1 across the league. Although the league did resume a week later, the games that were supposed to be played a week before were postponed.
One of such games is the one between Barcelona Femeni and Valencia Femeni. The game was supposed to be the season opener for the league champions at the Estadi Johan Cruyff in front of their fans. A date has finally been picked for the game to be played. On Tuesday, October 5, Barcelona will be hosting Valencia on Matchday 1 in the league.
