As the race for the Spanish domestic league title resumes tomorrow, Barcelona will start the defense of its league crown with an away game against Madrid CFF. The Blaugrana, who won the Liga F title last season, will be looking to repeat that feat this season with a win in their first game of the season.

The champions would be without the services of a few of their players due to injury. Fridolina Rolfo, who recently had surgery performed on her knee, is a potential long term absentee for the Blaugrana, and her return date is yet to be determined.

However, the squad will also be without the services of three players due to minor injuries. Jana Fernandez, Salma Paralluelo, and Keira Walsh will miss the Catalan giants’ first game of the season due to a few discomforts.

The club announced the unavailability of the trio earlier today on their social media account

Jana Fernandez is struggling with a muscle overload on her quadriceps of her left thigh, Salma Paralluelo has a sprain on the posterior capsule of her left knee, and Keira Walsh has a muscle injury in the sole of her left leg.

The injuries are considered minor, and the players are expected to return to action soon.

Barcelona will be away from home when they play against Madrid CFF tomorrow at 17:00 UTC to kick off the season.
