In their first game since the World Cup final, England emerged 2-1 winners over Scotland in their UEFA Nations League match. The European champions and World Cup finalists clinched the win over Scotland courtesy of goals from Lucy Bronze and Lauren Hemp.
Barcelona Femeni star Lucy Bronze played the full 90 minutes of the game and scored the game’s opening goal in the 39th minute after being assisted by Katie Zelem, before Hemp scored England’s second in the 45th minute.
The Lionesses will continue their UEFA Nations League campaign on Tuesday, October 26, when they face the Netherlands.
