Barcelona Femeni goalkeeper Sandra Panos has announced that she will be leaving the club at the end of the season. The club announced the goalkeeper’s decision to leave the club in pursuit of new professional challenges.

Panos, who was awarded the 2021 UEFA Women’s Goalkeeper of the Year, is finally set to leave Barcelona, where she has spent 9 years following her move from Levante in 2015. During her stint at Barcelona, Panos won 4 Liga F titles, 2 Champions League titles, 5 Copa de la Reina titles, and 4 Supercopa de Espana titles.
Panos bid farewell to the club in a message posted on her social media channel via her X account. The first-choice goalkeeper stated her love for the club while thanking the players, staff, and fans as well.

Sandra Panos joins the likes of Jonatan Giraldez, who is also set to leave at the end of the season, as well as Asisat Oshoala, who recently completed a move to the NWSL.
