Earlier today, Barcelona defeated Real Sociedad 3-0 at the Estadi Johan Cryuff. The head coach of the England women’s national team, Sarina Wiegman, was present to witness the game. The Best FIFA Awards nominee watched English internationals Lucy Bronze and Keira Walsh play for Barcelona.

Sarina Wiegman was said to have been invited by Barcelona Femeni head coach and fellow The Best FIFA Awards nominee, Jonatan Giraldez.
Barcelona put three goals past Sociedad in the game, and although both English players did not end up on the scoresheet, they both put up an amazing performance. Lucy Bronze played the full 90 minutes and almost ended up with a goal.
Keira Walsh was brought on as a substitute and provided the assist for Barcelona’s third goal of the night.
