The long-awaited 2023/2024 Liga F season has finally come upon us. Barcelona Femeni start the defense of their league crown with a match against Madrid CFF. The defending champions would be playing their first game of the league campaign away from home. The proposed first game of the season was supposed to be at home against Valencia, however, the match was postponed due to the players union strike.
After a transfer window that saw the Blaugrana lose first team players like Geyse Ferreira, Laia Codina, and Ana Maria Crnogorcevic, the Catalan giants, who were winners of the league last season, would be looking to start the season with a win as the race for the Spanish domestic title kicks off on Sunday.
New signings Ona Batlle and Esmee Brugts would be hoping to make their Liga F debuts with their new club.
Matchday Squad
The squad list for the Barca Femeni players that will be available for the clash against Sevilla, has been released by the club. The list can be found on the club’s official Twitter account and other official media pages.
